Science FairLittle Einsteins East Africa
will be hosting its very first Annual Science fair in Nairobi, Kenya this Saturday May 13 2017. The event will take place at the Aga Khan High School on Waiyaki Way from ten a.m. to four p.m. The theme for this year will be ‘Innovation through imagination’.

Little Einsteins East Africa is a learning center that facilitates science exploration using the STEM curriculum, that is Science, Technology and Engineering and Mathematics in-order to set the basis for lifelong interest in those areas. The program offers this kind of learning to different learning institutions like schools in Nairobi, at holiday camps, birthday parties and other special events as well as In-Lab workshops at their Explorers Lab in Lavington, Nairobi.

The fair will be the first private sector science fair in the region making it the only one of its kind so far. Mr. Kris Senanau, a renowned thought-leader in ICT & Telecommunication, Dr. Amakove Wala-a Doctor and change-maker will be among the science fair’s jury.Sixteen year-old Rusinga School student Samuel, will serve as the Honorary Young Scientist Judge. In 2016, he undertook a project to build a rocket (which he continues to improve). He also created a school management system, which won him and his team first place in the ICT/Computer Science Section.

On the same day, they will also be launching their Youtube Science Show, which provides an audiovisual forum for children (aged 3-12 years) and parents to learn science and have fun. For an entry fee of Kshs. 500 for children and Kshs. 1,000 for adults, you and your family can join in the fun and exploration.
